24 hours ago, I was anticipating the official start of the lock-in. And once it officially started, it was "hot stuff." Especially the part where the fire alarm went off at 2 in the morning. And we all had to go stand outside in the drizzle and watch three fire trucks show up. And, of course, there was no fire. Our youth leader, David, set off the alarms when he started a fog machine upstairs to set the mood for Communist Church. We still got to play Communist Church, once the fire trucks left. And it was fun. Strobe lights, loud music, and David monolouging over the Day School's intercom. Granted, it would have been cooler with the fog machine, the game was still good. And all the non-Calvary people did a great job of running around in the dark, even though they really had no idea where they were going. (ie. Carrie and Sam.) It was a good lock-in, and, luckily, no one did anything to ruin it, so chances are that we'll get to have another one next year. Sweet.
